This captivating kinetic installation is specifically designed to engage and attract individuals with its dynamic display of colors, encouraging spontaneous and interactive participation.

Consisting of six moving screens and one static screen, the installation's movement is triggered by two Passive Infrared (PIR) sensors, detecting the presence of users in close proximity.

Strategically placed within a construction mall, particularly in the paint section, where customers are selecting materials for soft construction, such as paints, tiles, plumbing supplies, and sanitary products, the installation aims to enhance the overall shopping experience.

As users approach, the screens dynamically transition from a single solid colors grid to a vibrant display of multiple colors, creating an eye-catching visual spectacle.

The mechanism behind this kinetic installation relies on eight stepper motors, organized into two groups of four each. These motors, working in conjunction with a gear mechanism, induce movement in three screens, transitioning seamlessly from one color display to another.

As users engage with the installation, the screens revolve and expand, forming three tints and three shades of the respective solid color in the center. The overall dimensions of this kinetic installation measure 4’ x 18” x 4’.

With its interactive and visually striking design, this installation not only adds a dynamic element to the paint section but also serves as a focal point for customers to explore and appreciate the diverse color selections available for their residences, offices, and other spaces.
